Eddie here. Today I'm reviewing Moana, a 2016 animated musical from Walt Disney Pictures, directed by Ron Clements and John Musker (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, and other Disney films), starring Dwayne Johnson, Jemaine Clement, and Auli'i Cravalho. A girl named Moana sets out on a journey to prove herself as a master voyager by fulfilling her ancestor's unfinished quest. During her journey, Moana meets a demi-god, Maui and together they go on an action packed voyage encountering near impossible odds to get a medallion back to its righteous place. I gotta say, I really enjoyed this film a lot. Moana has some of the best visual animations that Walt Disney has ever done. I enjoyed the story and I thought the small comedy it had blended very well. I don't have much more to elaborate with this film other than I do recommend it for a movie night with your family on an entertainment level. I'm going to give Moana an 8/10.
