Bad Moms Review

Eddie here and today I'm reviewing Bad Moms, from the writers of The Hangover, starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Jada Pinkett Smith and Cristina Applegate. Bad Moms is a "soft" comedy film about a mother named Amy (Mila Kunis) and her so called perfect husband, over achieving children and perfect life. When being overworked and exhausted from keeping everything on task, her stress levels causes her to snap and she ends up joining forces with 2 other moms whom have given up on being great mothers. While enjoying a careless and fun life, she ends up in in a showdown with her kid's school head PTA President. Now when I first saw the trailers for this film, I expected a hardcore, raunchy comedy similar to that of Superbad, especially since it's from the writers of The Hangover. Boy was it miss-marketed. Other than cussing and repeated party scenes, I ask myself, what was so bad about these moms? They really don't do anything crazy to call them bad moms other than a few tiny scenes. Instead of a raunchy comedy, we just get a soft chick flick comedy. This was a disappointing flick. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good either. I did laugh a lot at Kathryn Hahn, who you should remember from the film Step Brothers whom I find really funny. One of the things that annoyed the hell out of me about this flick were the party scenes. It feels like they kept hashing the same slow dubstep party scene over and over and over. It was trying to be funny, but those scenes were terrible as shit. Anyways, I give Bad Moms a 4.5/10. I don't care about seeing it again. Have a Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
